To develop familiarity with regulations & compliance issues according to requirements of international documents.
To improve usage of available technologies & strategies for marine pollution prevention.
To enhance planning & implementation measures aimed at reducing the risk of serious environmental impact.

The Course Participants Will:

Learn and understand the meaning and purpose of the marine pollution prevention.
Have knowledge about abbreviations and definitions regarding marine pollution.
Have knowledge about marine environment and pollution sources of marine pollution.
Have knowledge about international regulations and conventions for marine pollution sources by ship or land based sources.
Have knowledge about the precautions to be taken to prevent pollution of the marine environment.
Have knowledge about the use and operation of anti-pollution equipment.
Have knowledge about the approved methods for disposal of marine pollutants.
