Number Of Participants

  • 6 Trainees for each class. (Minimum of 6 trainees required for opening of course)

COURSE AIMS:

  • To enhance understanding of the explosive, propellants and detonators.

  • To improve trainees knowledge about types and characteristic of explosive, propellants and detonators.

  • To improve participants knowledge and skills regarding the explosive threat response planning and managing.

  • To train trainees about risk analysis procedures and how to prevent to the risks in the open and closed area.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The Course Participants Will:

  • Learn and understand the meaning and history of explosive, propellants and detonators.
  • Learn and understand types and characteristic of explosive, propellants and detonators and their scope of application.
  • Have knowledge about chemistry and classification of explosive, propellants and detonators.
  • Have knowledge about definitions and, type and classification of fires, fire triangle and fire tetrahedron.
  • Have knowledge of the transporting of the hazardous explosives and key concerns.
  • Enhance practice of flammable residues analysis and, procedures of collection and analysis of explosives.
  • Have knowledge about the explosive threat response planning and managing and, enhance practical skill regarding this issue.
  • Improve capability in terms of risk analysis procedures and how to prevent to the risks in various areas.s.
